1960s Omega Constellation Dog Leg Lugs: Fair Price?

After a 60s Constellation but want a dog leg lug version which I'm struggling a bit to find the right one.

Found one today by chance, all looks good though I do need to see the movement.

Thoughts on what is a fair price for this in the UK and any obvious issues?

Thanks in advance.

The watch looks legit to me, at least externally. And at first glance it appears to be a nice example. You are obviously encouraged to study it in detail for yourself, and familiarize yourself enough with the market to feel comfortable with the price, because we don't know much about the watch (asking price, service history, who you are buying from, etc). And in the end, we don't know your budget, condition-sensitivity, comfort buying at auction or from strangers, level of patience, etc. In other words, we can't buy it for you.

[Edit] To determine condition, you can start by studying reference information online. Desmond's blog is a great starting point:

For valuation, I'd suggest running recent comps on actual sales (not asking prices): eBay, auctions, forum sales.

Not sure about the date surround worth checking more closely with enlarged photos

(Edit: I think I can see proper bevels on 3rd photo so I think it’s ok)

Decent looking watch.
Dial looks good.
Case is a little soft but presentable.
Crystal is a non-Omega replacement and is covering the T SWISS T.
Nice medallion.

BOR is a bonus but end links are a bit random (15/19?)

It’s much easier if you tell us who the seller is (private/dealer) and what the asking is.

Thanks all.

Advertised as being serviced and asking price is £1,250.

It's being sold by an independent shop who sell a lot of vintage watches.

Proof of service will be important.
If serviced properly, with the BOR, from a retailer, that seems quite reasonable to me.

You should be able to have a respectful conversation with the seller about the service.

If it has been serviced they may also have pics of the movt too, what movt it has and the serial number.
