·Decided to move this watch on as it is rarely worn. It's a nice watch and somewhat rare but, I don't need it any more. I bought this from @Tom Dick two years ago and he knows these far better than me. He describes it here.
I am asking the same price as I paid two years ago - €1100 paid to my bank account in Spain. Postage is extra and that's for the head only. The watch is in Spain.
I've worn it once or twice a month so say, 50 times in all. It has had a new Omega crystal (you can see a crack in the original advert at the 5 O'clock area) and battery. I don't work on these so, the movement was last serviced a little over 2 years ago.
These are substantial watches and this feels very solid on the wrist and pairs nicely with a black strap. Diameter excluding crown is 36.5 mm and lug spacing is 18 mm. It seems to run a consistent +4.5 seconds per day. They can be regulated simply but I'm not inclined to do it as that's where it was set by the previous watchmaker who is a specialist in these.
It makes a nice hum very close to a D (third fret on the second string of a guitar) so, it's dual purpose as you can even use it to tune your guitar👍. Never be lost again when you're out busking and your guitar has slipped out of tune😉
Current condition photos. The watch is stopped by pulling out the crown and that's seen in all the photos except the last two.
And here, running.
Returns are okay within a week if the watch is not as described.
Regards, Chris
