There have been one or two threads where someone sent a family heirloom back to Omega for restoration, and the dial was repainted. I think there was some debate as to whether Omega did the dial in-house or outsourced it.

I know a dial „restorer“ here in Germany who’s done work for Omega in the past. He’s not great.

The difference is pretty clear when looking at the n as mentioned.

Went for 4.4k$. A lot of money for this…
