Purchased knowing a issue with a slight gear slip when adjusting the time. just wondering if over time could it affect the actual watch itself?? Also over the opposite side of the serial number sticker there's no omega or information engraving is this normal. Thanks

Yes, something is damaged and it's only going to get worse and likely damage additional parts. You're playing with fire if you don't have it repaired promptly.

Yes, normal for these movements, all of the information which on earlier calibers would have been engraved on various bridges etc is now contained on that little sticker.

Does the time setting feel quite stiff when you turn the crown? If so, the cannon pinion could be a problem, which isn’t all that unusual on thes calibers if it’s not handled correctly during service.

When this is the case, the minute wheel teeth can easily get stripped off, leading to the skipping feeling.

Based on how dirty the split stem is, and the discolouration on the wheels on the barrel bridge, this movement likely needs servicing anyway.

Hi no changing the time isn't stiff at all moves very freely but just a like notching/ gear slip feeling when changing the time. The date forwards and backwards is faultless. Was keeping very good timekeeping . But striped it down to give the case a really good clean as it was mega dirty..
