i suppose still no news yet for the restart?
I have seen rumours online of actual watches ( a lot) missing from the Museum vaults. If that is correct the investigations could be more protracted and wide ranging one imagines, which may delay things whille more checks and balances are put in place. Not to say if true any events listed here are linked, but they would all be under the same roof.

No news or updates from Omega just lets rumor and innuendo run rife. Hard not to, but best to let it fly over your head like spittle until Omega makes a statement.

Let’s see what happens next. I think we forget the information which broke the initial scandal did not come from the official sources and I believe the initial action from some was to try and silence that source with litigation threats, but that information turned out to be spot on.

The truth is the daughter of time, although in time people’s memories fade….and they can be selective… 🍿

This is what came of my request to Eberhard the other day - next day response.

Dear Mr. ........

We are delighted about your interest in vintage watches from Eberhard & Co. It is always a pleasure to interact with those who appreciate the historical value and craftsmanship of our creations from the past, of which your watch is a protagonist.

With regard to your request, we would like to inform you that in order to obtain detailed information, it is necessary to carry out a specific search in our archives. This process allows us to provide you with accurate data and ensure the best possible service.

To proceed, we kindly invite you to contact our expressly dedicated service via the following link:

We recommend that you provide us with clear photos of the front and back of the watch with the production numbers/punches highlighted and if possible also an image of the movement. Our team is available to assist you with any queries and to guide you through every necessary step.

We thank you for your understanding and hope to be able to provide you with all the information you need soon. We remain at your disposal for any further questions or clarifications.

Kind regards

It's such an important service, that's my thinking on it anyway.

Hmmm... AUD212. GBP110, USD130 - that's a "Good Grief!" moment for sure.
