Got mine today and I am in California. I opened it and in the beginning only saw German. Before I even utter a sound, I noticed the side by side English. 😀. Wow. Great book. I know how I am going to spend time this coming weekend.
I got mine a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to thank Erich yet, but HOLY COW is this an unbelievably detailed reference! Very well done @mac_omega !!
The tome(safe to call it that) made an appearance at our Southern California GTG this last weekend and we had fun flipping through it together. There were watches present pictured in the book and members present who owned other examples featured.
Ref 2364, 2366, and a Techron were all making the rounds.
There was also a set of fantastic Omega chronometer pocket watches with cal37.6.
Raising a glass to you Erich, a truly epic effort!
Adding to the pile of compliments. I was absolutely blown away and will be referring back to this. for years and years. An amazing achievement. Thank you and congratulations again.
COVID-19 shipping issues notwithstanding, I would love to get a copy here in New Zealand. I'm told that an RNZAF 2777 example appears and would be great to see that... I would have sent you a PM but using opportunity to get my posting numbers up so can contribute more widely on the forum!
