Who - Mike, Alex, or me?
Alex, he seems to be finding them recently. If I do not remember wrongly, your 2500 is from Gregg/fabsuisse?

Take good care of my future watch Kyle. 😁

The same goes for your 2799 as well. 😉

Touchè. 😜

Man I love this strap...Mike was right when he said it would look good on the Centenaries! I even picked one up for my PG Black waffle 354.

It has "fab Suisse" on the dial...any ideas folks?

About "Fab Suisse"? - french market watch, so marked by French law.

Would that alter the value? Or are the case markings just different?

Yes, value would be much lower😎 so if you are having second thoughts, pass on the seller info to me!

A little lower usually - but sometimes the French made cases had more gold in them. This particular instance I don't think there's much of a difference.

Just claim 'dibs' like the rest of us. 😜

What do you think about the dial? There's some minor patina, but its nothing too serious. Case looked quite sharp too.. I couldn't open her up so I have no idea what's inside, apart from the obvious!

I don't think its automatic that a french market watch has a French-made case, which is what the value issue is about. I don't think the "fab. Suisse" in and of itself alters value . When you get your eyes on it, look for hallmarks. Swiss 18K hallmark is the woman's head (Helvetia). The French hallmark is an eagle's head, as shown here on a Longines case

If its got the French case, it does tend to get "marked down" by collectors, although not clear to me why other than Swiss-centric chauvinism. As far as I know, the French never got up to the gold-content shenanigans the South Americans did in watch cases.
