Hi OF members,

I've recently pulled the trigger on a watch, that admittedly don't know much about. I've done some research, but these references seem to be all over the place, and the one that I was able to find similar to this one with the same hands was a ref. 2639-10 with a Cal. 266 movement.

The watch I purchased is a ref. 2639-2 (at least the caseback) and has a Cal. 265. I was wondering if these did indeed have this reference and calibre with the hands and dial layout in the photos below?

Thanks in advance for your input!

Both 265 and 266 are correct for the ref, and there were indeed tons of variations - possibly >100. The added number after the reference itself won't lead you exclusively to identical examples. Looks all good to me, crown is the correct flat foot example, too. If it has received a replacement caseback at some point? Who knows, wouldn't be a huge concern to me though.

I've also seen that hand before. 馃榿

just to clarify, it's not the owner of the hand I'm putting in question, he's great 馃榾. it's more my lack of knowledge and ensuring that things seem right. thanks for the feedback, it's reassuring.
