Hello,
I am new to the Forum and not an expert (but hopefully learning) and I'm asking for help. I bought this Omega Constellation, knowing that the dial has an obvious defect (lacquer comes off), but now I am also wondering if the rest of the watch is really authentic. I was too greedy and didn't research enough before I bought it. After I purchased I made more detailed research, especially regarding the case geometry. But I really can't tell if its possibly a counterfeit case or not - same for the case back. Thanks in advance!

Serial dates the watch to 1966, dial is OK, movement looks very good, case egedes look very good

Edit: Crown is correct, I think I see the Omega logo on the chrystal

Congrats on your pie pan dogleg.
I’d say you’ve done well if you weren’t certain about Connies.
The case looks good (really quite good)
Nice onyx inserts in the indices - Shame about the lacquer on the dial but it adds character to the watch.
The movement does look good but there are signs of rotor rub so if it hasn’t been serviced I’d advise you have it done.
If you don’t have a specialist vintage watchmaker let folks know where you (roughly) are and you may get recommendations. (Country or state will do)
