I have a 24 jewel 552 cal omega watch19381409 is the serial number I believe. I am wondering if I should restore this watch or sell it as is. The dial is in pretty bad shape. Missing glass and pretty scratched up. The gold peices on the dial are still there though. Can someone give me some guidance? Cost to restore. Price I can expect to get as is and price fixed up. Thanks in advance for any help

So the movement looks in reasonable condition (no rust, verdegris, etc, evident from the fuzzy photo). The dial is not in great condition. Did you receive it from your father/grandfather? My guess is that its sale value would be strictly as a spare-parts watch.

Movement does looks really good actually. The dial is in bad shape. How much can you expect to get for a parts watch of this type? On ebay, etc. csn you get new dials? Do you have an idea of the cost to referb watch?

The case is missing its bezel, which is next to impossible to replace, making it impractical to restore.

eBay value around $100-$125 US.
