Reminds me of the Bond Commander SMP from a couple of years ago.

Another LE, eh?? Any bets on how many pieces?
No ones complaining about the AC and ETNZ limited Editions. It’s every few years, and they are normally under the radar cool pieces.

this one seems pretty meh.

Very true. You don't hear a lot at all about the AC/ETNZ LEs. I think they look nice for what they are, but they don't fit the bill for me! 😀

I think the older seamaster america's cup LEs were good. Before they started splashing rainbow colors all over the watches.

Call me unnatural, but at first glance I quite liked that. Until I was reminded of the Commander’s edition and now I’ve come to my senses.

ETNZ editions though (drooling). I’m off to Chrono24 to kill a couple of hours!

Now this is getting a little out of hand. A LE for the 36th run of a yearly sporting event? What’s next? A limited edition for your next tax report?
Yearly?

36th run since 1851 and it’s the oldest sporting trophy in the world.

Overall, not bad... the caseback is too much, hardly see the movement...

The bezel colors are liquid ceramic so i guess no need for those rubber bezels anymore?

I will not, but since i made my point clear, there is no reason to further elaborate on the economically excessive nature of sport sailing.

The point you made clear is that you have no concept of what the sport of sailing is, and have no idea how foolish you look calling it “economically excessive” whilst in possession of luxury watches.

So that’s good.

FYI - keep up the tone and the attitude and you might find yourself asked to leave. So maybe think on that.

Does anyone have information wether it also has lume on the bezel (like the orange PO)?
Anyway for me personally it looks good, but I prefer my watches a bit more subtle, like the black PO.

Nope, it's says liquid ceramic only so its not lumed. But it must be something new in the fact that the color red is not rubber but liquid.

I suppose I’m biased, but for many years I sailed/raced out of Hamble in my own dinghy and crewed on larger yachts, I do not consider myself rich and certainly in those days I was not. Sailing does not have to be a rich mans sport a bit like motor racing, it depends on the level you enter. Certainly top end is very expensive, but even in the America’s Cup you do not have to be rich to crew just very good, and you get paid!
Regarding the watch I quite like it, but is it heresy for an Omega fan to say if I was in the market I would go for the Rolex Yachtmaster a better watch in my opinion although more expensive.
By the way I am a bastard my birth certificate proves it! ⛵️
