It's my understanding that each and every watch will have variances in their timing dependent on position, resting dial up, when not worn overnight results in a +4spd on my Speedmaster, I can tweak this by resting crown up, but chasing accuracy is just not worth the effort to me, I'd rather just enjoy the watch for what it is.

Trying to regulate a movement that's in poor shape is likely to be a fruitless exercise. I would suggest you have it serviced and then regulated by a competent watchmaker when covid restrictions (if applicable) allow.

If you need further adjustments, I would discuss this with them, don't ruin a valuable watch by tinkering with it yourself.
