We call this the newbie tax watch. Looks good but......

Movement has been cleaned for looks. Not taken apart and serviced and cleaned properly

I’m not surprised but it’s a shame people do this stuff like cleaning up the parts of the movement you can see, etc. I wouldn’t mind if they were up front and said what they did but all the misrepresentation I see with watches is a bit depressing. Whenever I sell anything, car, watch and all the stuff my wife sells online I mention anything wrong. I have lost a few sales because of it but I know how crappy it feels to have someone sell you a false bill of goods I refuse to do it to anyone else.
