    Hello, dear friends!
On sale for about U$ 500.00. Does it look authentic? Redial? Franke?

    Thanking in advance,

Well, the first problem is that it's not a Geneve, it's a Seamaster. :D

Hahaah you're right. I just pasted the text seller wrote. He has a very nice reputation but not much knowledge.

Case looks like it’s been polished, but the font looks ok to me! I’m definitely no expert though, what do others think?

Well, seller said it's been serviced but didn't told exactly what the watchmaker did.

I'd put that bracelet in a newer age bracket than the watch.

My 165002 came with a 1503. See pictures with endlinks.

I’d wear it with a leather strap ;)

Very cool! Leather bracelet looks much better IMHO.

Well, if the “ frank” is only that bracelet it’s fine to me.

What are your thoughts on the dial and overall condition?

Have you compared to other examples of this ref?

My thoughts are suspicious because I have no much expertise on Omega vintage watches, that’s why I asked here. They both look ok to me but I’m not sure it’s a redial and if movement shows something wrong.
Yes, I’ve compared with others and found some matches but others don’t. I understand that by the 60’s there were several models so here I am to see opinions from the other experts.

Watch looks fine to me, crown isn't the period correct one (but that often the case and no problem). Case was a bit polished, but nothing too bad. I wouldn't trust a seller if he states that the watch was serviced if he can't provide any documents supporting that claim. Bracelet is to new for the watch (it's probably from a seamaster cosmic), a proper one would be a BOR Bracelet or a leather strap. For 500$, why not. If he can't provide any proof of service, I would use it to try reduce the price a bit.

It looks ok to me. Movement appears clean, dial is good with just a slight mark near the middle and case seems in good order with minimal if any polishing. The crown and bracelet may be a bit later but they don't look bad with the watch, in fact the crown looks like it's from a 165.003 so not a million miles off and certainly in use when this watch was made, maybe even original to it. The marks inside the case back show that someone cared enough about it to get it serviced at least once. I think the price is about as fair as it can be for that watch.

ETA: just checked the crown on my 165.003 and it looks slightly smaller and the Omega symbol is a bit different, so scratch my remark about the above crown.

Thank you so much for your words.
Maybe crown and bracelet are not from the same age but if it’s overall is fine I don’t mind.

Another question: hands have lume...indexes not...why do you say it's fine? Just wondering .

On the first watch you posted the hands don't have lume. It's onyx or black inlay.
