Hello everyone,

I picked up an Omega 2849 in the bay. I knew that the condition wasn't perfect, I also need a few worn watches to wear - if the condition is too good, then I'm always afraid of putting flaws in it. 🙈

What do you think of the watch?

My assessment: the dial is original, as are the crown, Plexiglas (with logo) and hands. The dial has some damage, the hands are corroded and the case is a bit polished (but I don't mind).

I paid just over €700 for the watch, but I could return it. What do you think about the price? You can't find any comparative prices with a black dial.

Thank you, Andreas 🙏

Looks good to me! You're right, the same thing in solid gold or stainless would be much more. It's a good pickup I think.
