Rowdy
·So I sent my 2254 off to OSC Miami in earlier this year because it was running slow. My 2254 was returned looking very nice. It was polished up and also included a small bag full of parts and seals. However, it was still running slow. I emailed Omega Customer Service to let them know my concern and they sent out a pre-paid FedEx box. This time they sent it to OSC NJ. The report I received back said the amplitude was low. I’m not sure why a freshly serviced watch would have low amplitude, but nevertheless when I received it back, it had another small bag of parts which included a bunch of screws and the little cover that goes over the movement. It is now running well and keeps good time. I have included photos of the parts replaced and the invoice received from the 2nd service. Does anyone have any idea why the dust cover and all the little screws would have replaced? Maybe just routine to replace the screws after being removed a couple times? Am I the only one that has had a negative experience with OSC Miami?
