    Hi all,
Just looking for others opinions on the current situation I am going through. So I have had a few issues with my 2018 SMPC during ownership. I cannot fault Omega as they have always done their best to rectify any issues I have had. If anything I would commend them and would openly thank them on their let’s fix it approach.

My most recent issue was that my bezel spring was very loose and it did not take much pressure to turn the bezel. I had concerns about it from new and it was clear it was an issue when I had the opportunity to turn another Seamaster bezel which was a lot tighter (in a good way) I sent my Seamaster into Southampton and they kindly replaced the spring and sent the watch back. Shortly after the watch came the paint on the number 20 of the insert flaked off. I had only been briefly wearing the watch around the house so it made no sense how the paint fell out. Omega where good and took it back to replace the insert but now it has came back misaligned. If you look at the scalloped edges of the bezel at 12 you will see what I mean.

Have any of you had an issue like this before and if so where you able to get it fixed? Omega have phoned me to advise they will recollect again to look at it. My previous issues involved the AD ripping the interior of the leather in my box and not telling me. I discovered when i got home. They replaced the box later. My watch also had to be serviced in 2019 as it was losing 12-15 seconds per day. I work in a desk job and my watches get light use. Just to be clear picture 3 is when the paint flaked off the number 20. The first 2 images are how it looks now with the misaligned insert.

I have included images below of how it looked when I first bought it. As you can see the triangle at 12 is far better centred with the scalloped edge of the bezel at 12.

This is not uncommon and usually happens during servicing. But is seen on new watches also. I have a 2254.50 and it shows slightly of also but I can unsee it easily as it is not a problem to me. Yours is only out by a slight margin. Your second picture is not dead straight on and so are some of the other pics and this makes it more difficult to judge. If it is a worry to you have it fixed now or other wise have it looked at and rectified next service.
The missing paint is a little od as it is on both digits at the same level.

Never heard of the paint issue on the bezel of this model. Mine was however running +10 s/day and it was regulated under warranty to COSC specs.
