Hi guys, i have recently joined the forum and hope to gain as much knowledge as I can while here!

I have a number of vintage Omegas including this seamaster quartz. I can't seem to find another example with the blue dial anywhere online. Has anyone on here seen one?

Can't help with your question. Just wanted to by and comment on the similarity of this watch to a particular steel watch from a different Swiss manufacturer whose prices have left the stratosphere in the past few years. Something about that dial is giving me the heebie jeebies though.

Can't help with your question but I think if you will open the watch and you will search on google after the reference number from inside the case back you will find some other examples of your watch.

Seems to be a ref 196.0221, right? If so, the other examples I see with a similar dial layout have a minute track (your dial doesn't) and no lume at 3, 6, 9, and 12 (your dial does). Between that and the color, I'd guess it's a redial, but I'm just basing this on a quick Google search. I also didn't come across any in stainless with a gold bezel, so who knows?

Thanks all for your replies! I have added another close up of the dial. I had my suspicions but chose to follow the idea of it being unbelievably rare

Hi, have also just joined this forum, with the same if not identical but same colour dial query! I too can’t find anything similar. Haven’t had the back off yet, waiting for a back press to arrive.
