It is difficult to photograph this brownish black dial with fine gold speckles over the dial. I haven’t seen one like this before, does anyone know anything about this dial, what is it called, the materials? Or have images of other similar dials?

It’s just degradation of the lacquer on a standard black dial that’s aged to this specific type of patina.

It's a gilt dial destroyed from radiation - when it's uniform, it's appealing and in my opinion the value is around 70% of a pristine one, when it's not uniform it's more like 30%

Called various things like stardust dial etc.

I shared one of mine and an amateur watchmaker commented and claimed it can be cleaned, from my observation it's just the paint peeling off

More experienced members could comment on the actual condition, I'm very curious too
