Guess there are numerous reservations by a single person which may mean that sold out doesn’t really mean sold out when the deliveries start to come in.
Ohhhh, now I'm interested! Edit: If there are any currency market operators that could start selling down the GBP against the AUD over the next couple of weeks that would be most appreciated [emoji51]
Yay for Hamburg! I wonder how that fair city became Omega's maiden voyage destination for these Trilogy models?
My OB salesman said that I was only one of 3 people who ordered a Railmaster from them....and they are the only OB in the state of Washington. The Seamaster won't be arriving for another 2-3 was according to him.
In Chinese, 4 sounds like death/die. So I'm a bit wary of having a watch with a number saying death/die three straight times.
So there's a thematic connection here between altes Deutsch and Mandarin! Different reaction from each culture, however!
I do not know what the performance of the AUD vs. GBP would do then, if you were to buy a watch in Hamburg
these Railmasters look awesome. however, I dont think they look nearly as good on leather as they do on the metal bracelet, imo.
I have a watch on order from the UK. I'm guessing that since they are becoming available in Germany now they will be available in the UK in the next few weeks. Therefore, it would be great if the GBP was lower against the AUD at the time I have to pay. It was a bit of a joke on my part, that's all.
Visited two AD's and called two more in Toronto looking for speedmaster. They all laughed at me . The search continues.
You could try the NYC OB. Cheap flight from Toronto and last I heard (maybe 1.5-2 weeks ago) you could still reserve a speedy there.
Switched to the B&S strap for a little change. I think I chose the perfect strap color for my Railmaster....different vibe, more of a vintage look.... Looks good next to its little brother.... You can see how the reissue dial is really a charcoal gray and definitively not black when compared to the vintage Ranchero....it truly emanates a "tropical" (ie. faded) dial....love it!
