Thanks. Therefore it should be much thinner than the regular Railmaster I believe?

All of the anniversary pieces were made to the EXACT specs of the original 1957 CK2913/14/15. There is no thicker/thinner with these pieces.

In any case, it is 12.7mm tall from caseback to top of the domed sapphire, so it's approximately the same.

I was thinking about just borrowing it for a few years, but Regina (the Assistant Boutique Manager) thought that might be seen by other customers as a bit unfair so we decided to do a swap; you know, money for metal.

...and what number unit did you get?
see above
The OB in Hamburg also has 1474 if I remember the number correctly. Smile and say Nick (aka Longbow) sent you.

Yeh. I had two on the table at one point but didn't think to take a photo of the pair. Oh well.

By the way, I was informed that there was only one Trilogy box set allocated to Germany and that, as you can imagine, is looong gone.

Agreed. I was expecting something a much smaller and subtle.

Aw... would have been a good picture that.

Railmaster looks fantastic on the black leather. Not a fan of the beige/sand NATO though, that just looks a bit drab to me.

Congratulations anyway and thanks for sharing the fabulous pics.

Is it possible to know the number of these limited editions? I figured that only the Trilogy sets had chronological numbering and these LE's just get random serial numbers. I wonder how that works?

The NATO straps must be an acquired taste, though it looked good on @Beefylugs in his photo. There's something about all that material running this way and that...it reminds me of Jethro Bodeen's belt for those of you who recall "The Beverly Hillbillies." The juxtaposition of that expensive watch with that very common material is very Clampetts too, for me anyway. Love, love, love the watch, however!!! Congrats again!

Congratulations Longbow! That looks great on your wrist.

Question: How easy is it to change the bracelet/straps?
