Has anyone reserved the Trilogy Set?
I Did.
Reserved the set + one "regular" speedy at an OB in France. 1,000.00 EUR deposit for each watch. (4,000.00 deposit total).
The OB I ordered from has 2 sets coming + 6 single Speedies.
Secured set #2 & Speedy #4 (as of 3 days ago).

I am a vintage guy. These will be my first brand new watches I've bought since 1998...

Congrats. With maybe five positive responses I have seen in the forums, we are now 1% of the worldwide supply. How cool is that.
Better yet, we will have three great watches to enjoy. Really looking forward to the Railmaster as the tool watch I was looking for in my collection.

Can you quote retail price VAT inclusive for the set and the single piece? Which is it?

What is the reason for having such a price hike? Well over 7000 eur for speedmaster. While the regular one is less than 5000 eur. Lunar rover is still available and is around 4500 eur? Silver Snoopy was less than 6000 and now we end up at 7000 and that is in midst of crippled sales in two-digit figures for latest 3 years in a row? Hesalite crystal, solid back, nothing that makes it more expensive to manufacture. A part of design which makes it finally special.

Worst year for the Swiss was 2016. A lot of companies like Richmonte fired a bunch of talent to survive. Omega didn't fire a single employee and all these watches are to help them recover funds. I don't like paying this much either but if it means the best of Omega can keep on doing what they do, then I'm all for it.

Sorry, but I still think you mixed it up. It's 60m.
No it's not. Why do you think it is 60m? It has 150m in its name. The non LE RM even has 150m engraved on the caseback but I accept that is a different watch. The web site is wrong. It often is.

Is no one else unhappy with the 60th Speedmaster's case? In the photos and videos I've seen, the case on the LE is wide, has twisted lugs, looks too much like the modern version.

Once you get past the broad hands, the second-best feature that differentiates the 2915 from later Speedmasters was the straight and long lugs. Why didn't Omega protect that original feature as nicely as they did so many others?

Maybe they should reconsider some of their celeb endorsements!!

Nice close-up shots. Just annoys me more that they went into such detail such as putting the dot over 90 but somehow putting SWISS MADE over the seconds track :/

I am in between two minds... quite like the speedy (bin trilogy), but after checking with OB in Singapore, I'd need to fork out 50% -SG $5K upfront (Euro 3.3K), balance on delivery in June/July...I've bought plenty of watches, but never though AD (always grey market or second hand), or God forbid, a boutique! I am new to Omega as a brand but having seen how many countless speedy special editions they churn out every bloody year, what are the chances of these not being reissued a hundred times over for a normal price? Kind of stopping me from taking a plunge...

That looks like communism... you work as your abilities permit and are paid according to your needs... Hmmm.. at the end common rule is demand defines what normal price is. Let us see what happens with our beloved set. My feeling is that Railmaster will definately have problems being sold out quickly, Seamaster to a certain extent and Speedmaster will be the cherry on top of cake for Omega management.

Was told "Around" 20K for the set and 6K for the Speedy. (Euro). They were not 100% sure about the prices yet as it was only one day after the announcement.

I would love to have but unlikely. Announced price in CHF was like 6700 for Speedy and that is without sales tax, which makes around EUR 6100 without VAT.

I quite like the lugs of the Speedmaster, not a 100% copy of the 2915, but still a straight lug case

Just want to say this thread is brilliant, speaking as someone who has been waiting for these 60th Anniversary editions to come I am not disappointed. I think they are all 3 are very good but its the Railmaster I am after. Reading this I am now waiting for it to appear in the grey market. As much as I would like to go my local Omega Dealer the comments here indicate the price is over inflated before it even lands in the Uk. The wait continues..

Would pull up a chair if I was you.

Everything announced at Basel is over inflated apparently
( Funny as you hear it on forums every year for every brand 😗 )

Yesterday I also placed my order for this fantastic Speedmaster 60th! The OB in Brazil is asking only a 20% deposit and the watch is guaranteed. Can't wait to receive it!

Placed my deposit for the LE speedy yesterday. First time buying from OB. Quoted June delivery.
