Three very nice looking watches. I wonder if they will do a limited numbered set of three.
Yes ... Limited to 557 sets. It can be yours for the low, low price of only $20K.

I agree. I also don't like that its aesthetically the same as the original. That's kinda wrong in my opinion. It should have something unique.

It's really nice and I really really like the size. But a 100% re-edition is a bit disingenuous to those who own the original (not me - I wish). Wish they made it the same but with unique subdials or bezel. Something that says its a different watch.

But it is lovely. I will have to think about this because I was so excited about the size!

and this is not gonna change SpeedyTuesday owners one bit imo... not that I think it ever was going to.
Agreed on the SpeedTuesday: it has the vintage references, hesalite crystal and just looks spectacular.

and details in bezel, dial, hands, casback as well show the difference to a collector. I think it is the right way to keep the tradition alive and get variations of it. Rolex showed over the years how successful this can be. What I really miss for the aesthetics of the 2915 is the silver crystal retension ring.

Not true, Speedmaster has Hesalite, other 2 have sapphire. It says so on Omega's own page for the models.

Wouldn't the original silver ring crystal work?

Amazing set and maybe an upcoming bracelet option for the FOIS and the CK2998.
Robert-Jan, thank you for posting and let us know when you see the watches in the flesh tomorrow.

Much more better than what Rolex has come up with. Nice job Omega

Agreed a great Basel 2017 for Omega, congrats to RA and his team!

Ben Clymer just posted on the Hodinkee live page:
"Gut reaction to latest? Omega kills it."

"Rolex, a pretty tame year. To be expected after the Daytona-hysteria of 2016?"

so..anyone about to jump off of his Speedytuesday order? Would appreciate that big time, crawling up the waiting list 😀
I have mine on order and due to collect for June/July - I am not sure I might be moving in on to fund a more expensive Omega!

somebody tag me when the apollo 17 gets shown....

I love these for what they are, but feel no need to own any of them...

Good news for my ST, and Apollo 17 plans...

I am absolutely floored with the Railmaster...wow!....I just wish it could've been a manual-wind movement, but at least they didn't ruin it with a glass caseback.
