Just picked up my first omega! SM300 trilogy. Does everyone have a red box with the extra straps? My OB (local jeweler) gave me the regular SM wooden box with no extra straps 😕

I have the red box with the extra straps, that's how the watch should arrive.

Oh dear, I hope it was very cheap. You are missing out on about $600 worth of extra kit there not to mention the devaluation of a non-full set. Have a word with the dealer.

Red box, leather pouch, leather and nato straps, strap changing tool and vintage style owners manual along with the usual cards and booklets. Probably forgetting something without rummaging around and finding the set. This is a limited edition and if your jeweler didn't supply everything, they're doing you a disservice.

Thanks everyone for your input. I brought this up with the sales person, she was able to find the box. Apparently they forgot to label that it comes with a special box! I was able to exchange it, now I'm 100% happy.

it's always good when you get a proper outcome. It's fortuitous that you checked in here.

Looks like the new omega seamaster 2021 (with lollipop second hand) has a similar bracelet that tapers from 21 to 16mm.
I wonder if it will fit the 1957 trilogy if you swap out the removal links (not the end links)

Picked this up last year in an effort to lessen the blow of losing our 6 year old Labrador (didn't work). But just about every time I look at it, I smile and think of her.

Sorry about your dog mate. Pets are extremely hard to replace as they become part of the family. But it’s a nice thing to remember her by and is a lovely watch.

New owner here, here on the Uncle Seiko tropic. Got their flat link bracelet on the way.

Let us know how it goes on the US Flatlink. I've been putting them on my vintage Omegas with excellent results (see my recent posts if interested). I'm considering getting an US 19mm Flatlink for my Trilogy Railmaster. I'm not sure if I should go US or Forstner for the 19mm Flatlink....The US uses hollow end links which are easier to work with when having to make modifications as I have done with the 18mm version.

I have the US1035 on my Seamaster trilogy no modifications on the end links needed:

Nice! Ok that settles it...I'll have to try one on my Railmaster.

As promised....thanks to Uncle Seiko, I now have my Railmaster on a nicely tapering Flatlink that is light weight and super comfortable. Yes, I miss the double push button micro-adjuatable clasp, but I find that with the lighter weight, the need for making changes is much less frequent.

Bear in mind that the US flat link works great on both 19 and 20mm pieces, you just swap end. links so buy both. I may try that combo on my RM. I’ll be honest though I think the polished/brushed bracelet suits the case finishes better.

I brushed my Railmaster case and bezel some time ago and I bought the brushed/polished US bracelet and lightly brushed the side links to match the case of the RM.
