Showing some love for my SM 300 #365
Very nice indeed. How are your first impressions of the trio?

The Speedy is the best looking of the 3, followed by the RM and then the 300. I absolutely love the look of them and the faux patina is a nice touch for sure. I have no complaints of the texts of the dial or the overall finish. The other day when receiving them was the first time I got a chance to see and put on the Speedy and I think the size is spot on.

They do sit a bit small on my wrist as I like a 42mm over the 38-39, but this set is amazing. Thank you Omega for making this!
I have the railmaster, but originally wanted the Seamaster. I tried it on again the other day, and it’s a heavy watch and comparatively top heavy. Still fabulous, but my least favourite of the three (believe me, my least favourite is still one on of my fave watches).

I think all three are fantastic. Wonderful pieces and the size makes them for me. I’m a 40mm guy and at a push 42, but these are perfect. The railmaster at 38 is just perfect and a size I didn’t think I’d go down to. The simplicity and the dome of the glass makes it worth the admission price for me and in my opinion it looks a more expensive watch than it actually is.

The faux patina is actually ok, and looks a lot less orange in real life and I now enjoy it for what it is.

Very pleased for you. I would love to have a set of these and hope you enjoy them for years to come! Let’s have some more pics please.

I actually purchased the speedy dark brown strap for my railmaster yesterday and have just fitted it. Nothing wrong with the black, but am loving the look....

I’ve been looking for photos of the Railmaster domed sapphire. Yours show it well how it blends into the metal bezel.

Thanks for the revival shoutout @ranxoren
To anyone seeing this who wants to add themselves to the registry, it's a pretty informal process. Just email/message me what information you would like listed on the site along with a photo of your watch+serial AND a handwritten note with your name and the current date.

Cheers

Pretty cool....I like the idea of such a database. What have most people given you? Full name? City, state, serial number? Or slightly more anonymous?

Great stuff what number you got? 😀

I'll get back to you tonight but the Railmaster (wearing it right now) is 1979/3557

Railmaster is handsdown my favourite of the 3. The simplicity makes it for every occasion.

Are you pushing for same numbers?

Im sure I read there is a database forming for who has what number.

I love all 3, can't seem to pick out a favorite but the Seamaster has a slight edge.
I'd love to have 3 of the same serial for sure but I'm not too bothered 😀 On the flip side I'd be happy to help someone get 3 of the same if I have a serial that works for them kinda thing.

@verymickey is pulling together a database but it might be easier to just have a public document that people can self-add to, I think we'd see more adoption there.

Thoughts?

Yeah a public document sounds like the best way forward. The logistics of swapping to get all three is unimaginable as we would need all 3557 owners of each watch to partake and be willing to potentially swap around the world.

Im unsure as to how many of each went to each country but it certainly makes for an interesting horological quest lmao

Nice idea that is unlikely to work (not for me at any rate). I have zero intention of parting with my Railmaster and don’t need a Speedmaster or Seamaster. But good luck to the rest of you guys, I’m sure that swap-shop project will be most entertaining.

Yeah its a big challenge. Id be the same unlikely to swap I think. But knowing what its like to have three same numbers id say to anyone it makes them feel that little more special.
