Does anyone know what type of leather the strap supplied with the triology is made of? It has a weird texture on the outer surface, which may make it more water resistant. Any information on this would be much appreciated.

I don't really get why the FOIS is so much cheaper. I suspect the pricing of the Speedy Pro holds it back a little bit. Great value for money, though.

I (hope) believe in few years they will find technologies about how to produce sapphire crystal shaped as the hesalite.
So I will have no doubt any more )

 

They’ve done that pretty well with the domed sapphire crystals on the Railmaster and Seamaster 300 60th Anniversary models. The personality of hesalite with the scratch-resistance (and weight) of sapphire.
