Great news is I have all the same number watch out of the 3557.
Thoughts on value for insurance please?

·this is true but I am looking to exchange my RMLE no 148 for no 260 to complete my own Trilogy, but I'm sure their will be swap shop post soon
That'll just be a direct exchange then, one Railmaster for another, no valuation needed as they're the same watch

·Does anyone know what type of leather the strap supplied with the triology is made of? It has a weird texture on the outer surface, which may make it more water resistant. Any information on this would be much appreciated.

·I don't really get why the FOIS is so much cheaper. I suspect the pricing of the Speedy Pro holds it back a little bit. Great value for money, though.

I (hope) believe in few years they will find technologies about how to produce sapphire crystal shaped as the hesalite.
So I will have no doubt any more 😀)

They’ve done that pretty well with the domed sapphire crystals on the Railmaster and Seamaster 300 60th Anniversary models. The personality of hesalite with the scratch-resistance (and weight) of sapphire.

Same here. Wish I could flip my Daytona for the SM300LE and SM60LE... but I won't.

·The OB in Hong Kong on Nathan Road told me yesterday that they are able to take reservations again for RMs and SMs. They said there’d be a delivery delay of at least one month.
