Hello all,
I've been looking for quite a while for a nice omega constellation 168.029, and found this one online.
The dial and case seems to be in nice shape, and I would like to have your advices on the authenticity of it.
Could it be re-polished ? Do you have any remarks ?
Also, I have never seen a watch with this yellow seal(?) inside the case, should I be concerned ?

Thanks for your help and time
Have a great day
Romain

The dial is probably good, but the photo is not clear enough for my eyes to be 100% sure.

The yellow gasket is the original one that came with the watch. It seems like the rotor had to be replaced at some point, but they didn't bother replacing the gasket at the same time. Based on that, I would factor in the cost of a full service if you are planning on wearing the watch.

While photos are bit blurred I think dial and case are good with original sharp case lines
Show us more photos including the back medallion to be sure.
Asking price?

Here is a video from the vendor. He said to me that the case was polished.
And more pictures of it.
Thank you all for your help and insights !

looks like it got a light polish restoring the original brush lines on front, and some circular polish on Caseback. Caselines on side remain sharp. Medallion is preserved.
I think it is a good example.
unserviced without the 1040 bracelet I think price is high. Maybe you can bargain a bit
You will want to have it serviced at cost around 400-600 depending on parts.

Mine (on 1175 bracelet) says hi.

I didn't mention it but I will have a 1040 bracelet with it.
Not in NOS shape, but still acceptable shape.
