    Seamaster de Villes were in production 1963-1967, movement either a 562 or the later 565. If the date can be changed by pulling out the crown and pushing it back in, it's a 565.

    From my limited knowledge, with the cal. 565 dont try changing the date using the stem between 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock as the date changing mechanism can already be engaged. To prevent possible damage, It is best to adjust the time (i do 6 o'clock) and then pull the stem until the 2nd click.
