Ok no longer a cheap bastard got the cheap tier membership which I guess technically makes me still a cheap bastard. Saw no adds for the three weeks or so I was not upgraded despite whitelisting this site which I found odd I was kinda hoping to see watch strap ads or ads for watches but it’s all good. When is the raffle for the Rolex?

Yea that stuff is illegal here, I believe its also illegal where TRF operates since they’re another state of Australia too but they get around it by saying you’re not getting a lottery ticket but getting private message inbox space and “may” get an entry into the lottery. I don’t know how well that would stand up if they ever got looked at but I wouldn’t want to be in the sights of QLD Liquor and Gaming as those guys don’t mess around at all here.

When upgrading your mobile phone, ensure you transfer your Authenticator data from your old phone to the new one BEFORE you reset your old phone - found out the hard way as I’m now blocked from my social media 😲 (which, come to think of it, isn’t such a bad thing). Of course, if I’d taken screenshots of the codes from when I set it up I’d be good, but I was too busy looking at a certain watch forum 🙄

It may have been too many TimTams last night, but I had a weird dream, possibly triggered by this thread:

I dreamt I logged on to OF and saw the new charges.
The standard Ad-free subscriptions were there, but also in smaller print was the following:
Like Subscription - $3.00 per month to enable unlimited likes on any posts.
Reply Subscription - $5.00 per month to enable the reply option to unlimited posts for one calendar month.
PM Subscription - $10 per year to enable unlimited PM activity.
Private Sales Subscription - $10 for one month with a limit of three sales threads per subscription.

I dreamed about subscribing to the reply subs, but then I farted and woke myself up.

I then got an elbow in the ribs from My Darlin' for breaking wind (and breaking her slumber), but then realised it wasn't real life (thankfully).

(The dream that is. The fart was very real 😲).

They should still be there, Trev’s working on a major upgrade that is effectively a new version of the site from scratch and hasn’t been working on the current one of late, do you have a screenshot of what has changed?

This year when the subscription expired both my desktop and my tablet got cranky about running the Forum. Cellular phone not so much.

Renewed and everything smoothed out. I don't know if the adds were tripping up my older devises or what caused issues.

Sibscribing is a bargain for uncluttered forum-ing fun.
