Anyone know a place online to buy Omega springbars? The ones that came with my pre-owned 2254 are garbage and simply don't trust them. Don't have an OB in my area and the AD wants to charge me $50+ dollars for them due to shipping.
Couldn't find any related topics in the search.
    Thanks.

Not sure of an online source these days. I would suggest calling your closest OB to see if they will sell/ship them. I know that some of the locations have different requirements - I've run into that myself. In the Seattle, WA location (attached to a service center) I had to bring in the watch but they gave me the spring bars at no charge. In the Bellevue, WA location I didn't have to bring in my watches but was able to order (and pay for) as many spring bars as I wanted. I didn't need shipping in either case, but I understand a lot of members have experienced free shipping or nominal shipping charges. $50 seems high for shipping, unless I'm misreading your post. Is the $50 for spring bars + shipping? The spring bars I had to pay for were $4 each (but could vary by OB location).

I'm in the middle of Canada so the closest OB is either Vancouver or Toronto. I don't know the part number.

Have you called the Swatch Group in Toronto? They have an entire service department that may be able to help out.

I used Swatchgroup US to get some extra springbars. They are $4 and $10 for shipping. They are not cheap, but they are OEM.

This was from their email when I inquired. I'm sure they could help you out.
Should further questions arise, please feel free to contact us Monday through Friday between 9AM and 6PM EST at 877-839-5224 (Option 2) and a Customer Service Representative will be happy assist you.

You can contact Omega in TO — they are very helpful but you’ll pay for the parts and at least 15.00 for shipping, since they use FedEx. I can pass on the name and email of the parts person I dealt with if you decide to go that route.

FWIW, when I bought a rubber strap and buckle from them, spring bars were not included, much to my surprise, given the substantial cost.

I would love to have the TO contact too. My AD here in Calgary only has non OEM springbar.
I have used swisswatchspares.com but the shipping from UK to Canada is steep.

Maybe someone who reads this is going to an AD or OB this weekend and can grab you a set. Regular mail from US will only cost 3 stamps (whatever those cost these days) After paypal F&F and stamps, you're looking at 9 to 11 bucks for a set of bars.

    BOOM! Problem solved

I'm in NH and would hook you up but I don't see myself in the area of my AD till next Friday or Saturday.

If you can get a part number that we are sure of, I can check what I have here and can put some in the mail for you. I just do not want to send you the wrong ones. @Archer

Awesome. Thank you @BradleyJ. I assumed it was those, but I haven't been around long enough to be sure. I have those. @avidmark send me a message and I will get them in the mail for you next week Monday. I am right in Buffalo, NY so hopefully they would make it to you by the end of the week next week.

Ah. If the spring bars are $4 each, then we're talking $42 in shipping. Does seem steep from the AD.

    @CJpickup57 - very generous!

It is good to see fellow members helping each other out. This is what I love about the OF community.
