One of the last Democrat’s that actually had a set of balls, followed by the last Republican that actually had ethics.

I should amend the statement - LBJ had gigantic balls- too large for his Haggar slacks apparently.

I got a free pair from a boutique when I went to have my bracelet installed. After hearing some people getting charged, I guess there isn't a lot of consistency as to whether spring bars are sold or given away.

Pretty normal for an OB to put on new spring bars when changing a bracelet for you. They typically charge though when you want to simply buy spring bars. At least that is how my OB is.

I could see this when performing a “service” for a customer as opposed to just selling an accessory.

I see. I didn’t buy the bracelet at the OB, but just brought it to them to change out the strap, and they gave the spring bars and replaced a bent screw in the bracelet free of charge. Not sure if that is typical, but I understand if you just want some spare spring bars they may charge you.

My OB has swapped bracelet/ strap for me before. They did not charge for the swap, or for the spring bars. I bought the strap from them (which is different than in your case), and they told me I could come back as often as I wanted to swap back and forth, and it would be at no charge. Of course they are 30-45 minutes away from my house and office, so I don't get by there more than once a year or so.
