Too much like the CK2998 Blue Panda, I actually have mine on that same blue strap and DP buckle. And I paid a lot less than $9,600 + tax, which means it will be about $10,400 +/- for most US buyers. Pricey for a steel, non LE watch, but the back is cool. Omega will sell tons of them. Flippers will be disappointed.

It sure is on the pricey side if money is as tight as your strap. Loosen that off, you're making me nervous! 😉

Love the watch. Nice that special thing at the back with the moving moon and Snoopy flying around once chrono is activated. Too expensive I think. Plus the Snoopy at the front is too much in your face because the contrast is so high.

The Fratello review said that orbiting Snoopy is visible for 14 seconds. Surely on purpose to commemorate the 14 seconds that Apollo 13 had to fire the LM rocket on return home. Marvellous attention to detail by Omega!

NO WAY.

I have just watched the video and I have been converted.

I am taking one of those regardless of the price.

Some people are being a bit snobby already. The presentation box and all of the features look amazing and I think that it looks better than the 2015 model.

I don't care about it going up in £££££ either, I just don't want it to go down.

But either way that is a stunning gift set/watch at a price lower than my Ceramic DSOM.

It looks like something nice to keep hold of and admire.

Yeah, good catch. That was first pic after the OB put the strap on, put it on the next hole immediately. All good.

My hot take is that is the best LE Omega has ever produced. I’m dying... I’d have to liquidate half my collection to afford it, so it’s a no for me.

I know it's not LE or LP, but I have a feeling that this is going to be a disaster and most people are not going to be able to get one.

So it might become a limited edition by other means.
Omega has fathomed that out and wants its share.

Really wish this came with a bracelet but the strap better have a deployant buckle and not a pin buckle.

Is starting to make the Apollo 11 50th look reasonable value at a smidge over £7k.

it’s a lovely watch, but the pricing is starting to move strongly upwards and I do wonder How much of that we can take.

Just read it’s not an LE... kudos to them for hopefully making it available to anyone who wants it.

I personally like the 45th more, it's a lot cleaner and understated but that's just a matter of preference. I think the presentation box is really cool, but really wish there was more clarity on production levels. Not hoping to make money either but at $10k, just don't want to be diluted to the point when they produce 15k of these.

Looks like a pin buckle from the video. I was hoping for the deployment clasp as well but that won't prevent me from getting one.

The animated caseback is pretty damn cool. You know Patek would try and charge you an extra $50k for that feature.

I'm like many people so far that love the watch, but the price is a bit of a shock. I absolutely love the fabric strap (primarily wear my speedy on the black Snoopy strap) but why on earth wouldn't they include a deployant? That's the only issue for me.

Omega has fathomed that out and wants its share.

Pay the bit extra even if you see as a premium, and get it from an OB.
Hold onto it and see which way the wind blows because Omega knows that it will be crucial to anything else they release.
