It's not going to stop me either but at that price c'mon Omega. Throw us a bone on the deployant.

Agree pricey for SS but as far as how it looks, I quite like it. Looks like a fun piece.
Is this a Boutique only piece? This is what an Omega AD informed me

Anyone who knows more info on the thickness of the watch? Or a lume shot?

Nice gimmick or toy. Price is a big step up from the C2998 blue panda for additional featured which are nice but how nice are they? Imho the lume trick of Snoopy 2 or ultraman is way cooler. This one is a bit in your face on contrary to a regular speedmaster. But thats also the fun of it. This whole pricing really makes me questioning one thing. What will Omega do when they introduce the co-axial in the bread and butter speedmaster? Most likely an increase of 2.5k.

Probably used a pin buckle for cost reasons, and it makes it easier to show off the animation on the back. But a watch like this really needs a DP buckle, imo.

Price is on the high side considering the A11 50th was only $50 more and it comes with a bracelet and gold accents.
Yes, the Snoopy has the animations on the back which would add to the price, but I still think it should have been priced closer to $7-8K.

Pricing concerns aside it seems like a great innovative new release

A new Sub is similarly priced. I like this watch, but I’d rather have the new Sub.

When I first saw the caseback I wasn't too thrilled but then we I found out it's animated that all changed. We love mechanical animations. The dial side is really handsome and overall there is a jovial vibe to this release. I don't think there's a surprise that the price is the same as the A11 50th - hell you're getting some extra "complications" here. I confident that Omega will stamp out as many, if not more, than the recent A11.

So far with the 321 and this one I guess the new Speedy profit maximization strategy appears to be "No more LE and price gouging. As long as you're willing to pay our asking price, we'll continue to make them, albeit slowly - learning from Rolex". Omega will take my money on this one.

I am sure I am in the minority on this one... I really like the tang buckle. Omega deployants are not comfortable on small wrists.

same here. Deployants suck for non texas-sized wrists (I have the blue moonphase too and it just wears wrongly on my 17cm wrist). Tang buckle ftw anytime for me!

I like that Omega didn’t say anything about limited edition or limited production. Hopefully, that causes speculators to drop out and leave the watches for regular buyers.

Well I am delighted, I love the watch and the fact that it isn't limited is an added bonus.

I cannot pick up the watch at the moment due to moving house but as Omega should be making this for a while it gives me chance to get one at some point next year, once the move is sorted.

    Congratulations Omega, nice job.
