so how i can get this watch? call my ad and cross my fingers? or is there another way

Just calling per se, may not do it.
Go in and start to establish a relationship with them.
Get onto a mailing list through a genuine expression of interest and keep in touch with them via email as things unfold a bit more are going to be good options.
Are you approaching an AD or Boutique?
A Boutique will be your very best oportunity馃憤

On reflection, i suppose it's a bit like high school then馃憥馃檨

Not sure if intentional, but that is about as "on the nose" as you could get. "Nuff said.

I shall leave it there now and endeavour to remain focussed on staying on topic馃榾

Kind Regards,
D馃榾

Agreed.

After reading Standy's thread and looking back through the stuff I've missed over the past couple days, I'm pretty amused at how this Snoopy seems to be bringing the worst out of so many people!

Obviously don鈥檛 know what鈥檚 in the pipeline but I wonder how current Snoopy owners will react to this? Good thing or bad thing?
Why would it not be good?

The value of their watch would decrease.
Why would the value decrease for them? Perhaps the price? If they鈥檇 kept it it鈥檚 certainly of value to them and that wouldn鈥檛 change.

Would it be of interest to any OFers if there is a list of names here of those who wish to share that they have made reservation for snoopy with the OB?
If yes, please add your callsign to the list below (I will start off):
1. EricCsN
2. SO (significant other) of 1
3. Son of 1
4. Friend of 1

Are all these watches for people on the list, for them to genuinely keep?

Quite right, but I'm certain there is a degree of speculation in there as well that needs to be factored in.
After all, in the case where there are multiple watches in a collection, one surely has to be able to add a degree of justification and a rising resale price would be a powerful insentive.

Equally though for many people price going up can destroy a watches value eg their favorite watch to wear becomes a safe queen 馃檨

You can't keep them forever.
One gets old eventually and dying with a load of watches stashed around the place is pretty strange stuff.
All my life I have seen people get bigger and bigger houses, yards, real estate portfolios, boats, watch collections, etc, etc.
And when one gets older these things normally diminish in significance according to manageability concerns where constant re-structuring brings about downsizing and get sold off to simplify one's life.
You can't take it with you馃檨

There are no safe queens here at the moment.
But there is one that's cherished way above the others in that it's my wedding gift from my wife馃憤
But I can't say that it will be the very last one to go even though it will be the last on the balance of probability.

Um...I think the poster was joking. However I'm not surprised by your reaction since a sense of humor is getting hard to come by here lately. ::facepalm1::

mine (and family members) are keepers, not for sale. Intent is for the fun of gauging the demand of OFers here for this piece with this list. (I should imagine genuine collectors will be upset at those of us who booked but for the purpose of immediately flipping at a higher price should they be deprived a booking spot from overdemand of this piece.)
