I talked to my "local" boutique yesterday, he told me that they are available and I would get one if I want one in a decent amount of time. One of those that it's better to wait and pay retail instead of giving someone profit. He also said the new FOIS would be less than 30 days. I've purchased 3 new Omegas this year, but only one there.

Omega would gain that much respect from me if they do so, honoring what was initially said about anyone that wants one, would be able to get one.
Unfortunately for me though I still will probably have to go secondary, as the one Boutique in Brazil (it is not Omega owned) sells the watch for the lucky person that gets an allocation for BRL 96k, which translates to about USD 17.5k, which is at level or even a little higher than what I can get at any time in Chrono24 in the US. Of course that means I still need a trip to the US, but hopefully that will happen for work early next year.

But it being widely available should mean that secondary will slowly drop towards MSRP, which I will be happy to pay.

Currently in Japan and was able to compare the Snoopy 50th with the Tokyo Panda.

Of interest is the way the dials reflect the light with the Snoopy sterling staying more grey compared to the Panda’s opaline that’s reflecting more yellow of the incandescent lighting.

Opposite of what I heard from my OB. Little reason for them to lie to me since I already have one from them. It could be different per store of course I guess.

Do you mean the 5th Ave boutique? My SA there says it’s impossible, but I chalk it up to me being a little fish asking the biggest boutique in terms of sales. Others have said if I buy more with them then it’s doable. Have to imagine in other places its similar or better.

Yea that one. They said they haven't had any new snoopy allocations in a while now.

Would you happen to remember the pricing for the Snoopy 50th in Japan?

New? It retails in Japan for ¥1,639,000 currently but the wait lists are extensive.
My mate has been on the list since just after announcement at the AD where he got his Tokyo panda and they’ve never received an allocation.
I was told that an OB in Ginza has 1k+ on the wait list and in another OB it is 800+ and seems unlikely to be fulfilled.
In HK though seems an AD there has one in the back but you have to talk watches first and then also buy another piece and you would have a chance.

Ahh ok that’s helpful. You saved me a trip to the OB when I visit tokyo!

I am wary of announcements of the number of people on the list, I myself have been on the list in 2 Omega stores since the beginning, but I got my Snoopy via an independent AD in February 2023...

I've never seen this delivery ratio, at least in Spain. I guess around 10 / week, as I know 4 guys from Spain that have been called from Monday to today (Thursday).

That's good that more people are getting one. Hopefully it's going to actual collectors and not just flippers since the watch hype market is cooling down.

Retail price is now very close to gray market one, and still one year of deliveries ahead (at least).
And 11,8k € is a lot of money, specifically in Spain comparing to other European countries.
Maybe that's why I'm seeing them now being delivered to forum members, more likely true aficionados.

You're referring to the 14k+ gray market prices on C24?

Yes.
And that price includes C24 comissions and dealers profit. "Normal" seller can get hardly his money back if he sells it to a professional. Maybe a small profit if he manages to sell directly to final costumer.

Where? I don't see any of these going anywhere close to retail price of CHF 10,100 or USD $10,600 on the gray market. Maybe the seller isn't making a ton of money now, but the buyer is still paying well over retail.

If my OB offers me one at 10600 I would pay that. But I don't want it badly enough to pay more than that. But I would have no intention of flipping it either.

Examples (retail 11.800€):

Including C24 fees, almost non profit.

Approximately C24 fees and transport.
I've just seen as I write this message in an Spanish telegram watch group one for 9600€, one year old and just serviced.
(I already own one).
