Retail price is now very close to gray market one, and still one year of deliveries ahead (at least).
And 11,8k € is a lot of money, specifically in Spain comparing to other European countries.
Maybe that's why I'm seeing them now being delivered to forum members, more likely true aficionados.
The true aficionados don't exist.

One year left, and I truly believe it won't be the end, as long as enough demand exists for this one.

Omega needs to think hard on who they want to be: accessible luxury or unobtanium luxury:

* It's a tricky question because in the former case you can build sales volume & margin through engaged communities, especially these days (e.g., MoonSwatch)

* In the latter case you can build sales volume via wanna-be-ism & FOMO (e.g Rolex)

Given where the Chinese market is going and the global markets are, the smart choice might be to lean to accessible luxury with true waitlists for hype models.

In that strategy, the tactic would be as you say: keep Snoopy production rocking until waitlists are fulfilled, then cut them off and start on the next model.

This Snoopy is the most produced Speedmaster of all time after the Normal, surprising that there are still lists, we are talking about several tens of thousands produced already....

it must already be produced almost 2x the number of FOIS the old generation.

If they are not individually numbered, it is because production is running at maximum capacity.

I came back this week from a trip to Budapest, I went to the OB and talked to the management. They told me that there are a lot of people on the waiting list, that the list is closed and that they have only received 4 Snoopys. They told me forget it, it's impossible to get one here.

No one other than Omega management knows how many Snoopy's have been produced. "Several tens of thousands produced already...", I doubt it. 2x FOIS means over 30,000...seriously doubt it. Probably less than 10,000 at this point...just another guess.

They are not numbered on purpose, Omega does not want the public, and the secondary market, to know how many have been made. It's not because they are "running at maximum capacity" and unable to number them.

Omega also doesn’t want to piss off whale customers at boutiques trying to allocate certain numbers. Imagine the competition with the Chinese boutiques trying to allocate 8, 88, and 888 or in the west trying to get 1 or 7

An OB SA said that they are not yet discontinued, that supply continues to be as limited as before, and that they expect it to continue into 2025.

They don’t really know for how much longer. Just speculation on a stopping point. I think what is clear is that they are not discontinued as of now and that there is some sense that the end is on the horizon.

from very well informed sources there are more than 10,000 Snoopys produced per year, and yes today we are approaching 30,000.

No it's less. There are around 300 OB in the world. I've spoken to the management of several OB stores, including one I know well, and we're a long way from the figures you're announcing. You're talking about an average of 30-35 watches per year per boutique, and the OB of a capital city I visited last week has received 4 since the launch for example.

I have to call BS on the claim that we are approaching 30,000 Snoopy's worldwide, that does not seem plausible based on what people are actually seeing from the OBs. Almost all are sold through boutiques and some boutiques see very few of them through the year.

there are not only omega stores in the world, since dec 2022 authorized retailers also have snoopy for sale, that's how I got mine, and even if they only have afistfull each, they still have 2500...
You may not believe me, but my numbers are good, since the person I was able to talk to about it had a sufficiently precise detail to know the quantities delivered by country.

Really far away 30’000 for the biggest OB in terms of sales in Europe since the launch 75 landed there ( 1 for me after 3 years)
