Still on a waiting list as well.

I don't think I'd buy from a flipper. If I cant get this one then oh well, I'm sure Omega will have other interesting offerings in the pipeline before they stop production of the 50th.

Still on the knock list too…

Popped into my AD today to drop off my Breitling Transocean for a spa treatment, they haven’t had any updates from Omega HQ.

Edit: My AD has been allocated a VERY small number pieces (single digit). I was last on their list but as I was allocated to them by Omega directly, I maybe assigned the first they receive… who knows?

I did manage to try on some delights whilst in, just wow…

Received mine today and feeling very lucky. Over 3 years on the waitlist, after submitting my interest as soon as it was released. I had the chance to buy an Apollo 11th a little while back but declined and am glad I waited now.

Hope those waiting on the call get one soon.

Which one do you prefer ?

Changed the strap after less than a day. Appreciate it may soften but it way too stiff for my liking.

Decent match for a Hirsch I had in the watch box I think.

I’m still on a waiting list. Think I was 5th and 3 have been delivered. I would probably pay 20% above retail for an as new stickered grey market watch which I think would be around £12,000 GBP.
Not sure they’ll quite get there. I’m seeing them in the 14’s. If you really want one that badly, that’s not a terrible price given the rrp is now 10k

Looks really good. Agree re the original strap. I thought it was terrible, certainly at the price point of this watch. Omega make cracking straps, so pity about this one

Am also on the list for quite some time now… and I hope to get the call before it is discontinued.
I would never pay one cent over retail for it though…

Was lucky enough to get one this past week. I was on the list for 3 years as well. My ob said they are getting very few in and I belive it because I had asked they open nothing until I got there and when I opened it 2 reps were standing with me because they have never seen one. He had no info to share on when production will end but said he doesn't see it lasting much longer but it's probably him just guessing.

Totally agree on the strap comments I find it kinda ridiculous that it comes with one strap and no metal band or even nasa strap. My seamaster 57 came with a leather strat, metal and nato and it cost like 5700 if I recall. Ob offered a free nato but said there's no way to even discount the 3816 band which cost about 750. I would have paid the 500 if he were able to take the credit for the nato and put it towards it. I may have to try a uncle seiko or forstner band because I can't stand how stiff the stock band is

I got my Snoopy about a year after release and the OB gave me a free 3861 bracelet for the watch. I didn’t ask for a discount. I just asked if they could switch it out and put it on the bracelet.

At the time they didn’t have one so they ordered one for me and I got it about 2 weeks later.

I received Snoopy 50th Anniversary for my 50th Anniversary this year. Awesome
I confirm that the OB receive very very few, no more than before.
Bond 6Oth anniversary on the other hand is much easier to acquire.

I’m still waiting for mine. Did get my 321 from them though. We were chatting and I asked how many Snoopy vs 321 they have gotten. He told me in past 3 years or so, he’s seen probably around 30 Snoopys come through and 15 321.

That confirms 321 are even more exclusive… but for some reason are not encountering the same interest by general public.

It’s because a 321 is more of a watch persons watch. Your average Joe would probably not notice the differences. Plus a 321 is about 5k more in price. A Snoopy is instantly recognizable and it has a broader audience with Snoopy and the animated case back. I’m holding reservations whether I want a Snoopy or not. Told my OB definitely give me a call when my turn is up but I’m not guaranteeing I’m buying it. He laughed and said with the 321 he doesn’t blame me if I don’t. He said I should my chance before end of the year.

They did order the stock replacement for me that has the deployment band. Sounds like you have spent a small fortune there but nice win.

I'm not important of a client. I've bought a Seamaster 2220.80 for myself and a lady's Constellation for my mom like 10 years ago. Between that and my Snoopy, I only purchased accessories. The OB did mention I was one of the few returning customers that they have.

Many people want the Snoopy for the FOMO emotional angle, they think it will be a great investment like the Snoopy 45th was and they don't want to miss the boat this time. It's a nice watch but waiting over three years as many people have would turn me off. But people still wait for the call. Collecting is very hard to explain as most things are when emotions are in play.

I was not going to wait for a New 321 Ed White so I just went grey, glad I did. It would aggravate me no end if I was waiting for years for an OB to call me telling me my watch came in.

Don't you deal with the Houston OB? I would think they would have a lot of returning customers rather than new 'one off' types, but perhaps the Omega community is a new phenomenon there. As in most places high end watches usually revolve around Rolex and Patek Philippe, those are the names the public is familiar with. Rolex for decades, PP relatively recent.
