I shake my head every time I see someone say it’s bad for the brand if there’s disgruntled customers who are upset because they can’t easily get the watch . The exact opposite is true, and is true for all luxury goods. This is exactly what Omega wants , and it will long term benefit the brand. I’m sure they want to find a balance where people who put deposits in early, or people with long term history with the brand can likely get a watch … but it wouldn’t serve them well for this to be just sitting in the display case for anyone who just walks into an OB or AD. However, I do agree they probably shouldn’t be holding deposits, but policy on that seems to be all over the place depending on country and whether it’s a dealer or a swatch group owned OB.

Lol I shake my head everytime someone say this is what Omega wants.

What they want r sales. 2023 will be a tough year for all lux brands. I put a deposit down within the first hr of release. An email from the AD stated omega has confirm allocation for them(b4 u ask why not BO, there's none in Toronto). Time isn't a concern for me, I can wait for years (which I have). But if I don't get one at the end, I'll pass on this brand for good. Lol I guess that's what omega wants.

Congratulations to all new owners.
Almost 2 years with this marvelous watch.
It does REALLY look good in the new speedy bracelet!

Can you please share your deposit place at your OB at the time of deposit?
I was told I was one of the first few but they had to satisfy elite customers first. They never gave me an exact number.

Snoopy has finally landed! I've had my full deposit since it was announced, glad that my patience has paid off. No prior purchase history with OB or any Omega for that matter. 😀

The strap being stiff is no joke. I'll be switching to something else soon, likely the bracelet that everyone else has.

Congrats and wear it in good health .

Seems like most have gotten their Snoopy with initial deposit on Oct. 5th 2020. I'd like to see a poll on how many still have gotten the Snoopy with full payment at a OB.

I think the stiff, blue cordura strap for this watch is just wrong, probably done for cost purposes. The new 3861 bracelet is a big improvement and makes the watch look just that much nicer. I don't have one, but everytime I see one on the bracelet it hits all the right notes, imo.

Agree with you 100%… and @nicolamilton ’s photos are here to substantiate your opinion. 🥰

The only good thing about it taking this long to get is that the 3861 bracelet now has a micro adjustment clasp. 😁

I actually ordered a similar blue cordura strap (I believe it was from the Good Planet Aqua Terra) to use on one of my other watches. It was a bit stiff at first but after wearing it for a week or so and keeping it strapped to a stiff watch pillow while I wasnt wearing it, it softened up considerably. Very comfortable now. Not sure if the Snoopy strap is somehow even stiffer but give it a try before replacing it.

I’m not going to argue that the original Snoopy blue cordura strap is high quality or outstanding comfort. In fact mine is two years old and the rubber around the keeper holes is cracking. I think because I’ve worn it inconsistently, wearing daily for a few weeks and then putting back in safe for a month. It is a bit stiff. However, I think the contrast of the dark blue against the silver dial looks better that the bracelet. I bought a white Omega nato with blue stripe based on photos that I think looks fantastic with the watch, I will install it soon

Since a few weeks owner I hate this blue strap and started the project to add the 50th anniversary flat bracelet on it following a couple of Tutos before starting to wear it all the rest of the watch is perfect .

by the way hope all people willing in the forum will get it , on the 29 of December the snoopy as been removed from the internal catalog that means no order are possible ( anyway this never worked) but the sign the end is close .

What does it mean ? Seller at omega boutique can't do internal order anymore ?

Sounds bad for people still waiting

It's still in the Omega website so I wouldn't think so. Also they are still maintaining the "everyone who wants one will get one". That's what I was told at the OB.

There are similar announcements about end of production in Q1 this year.
If we are serious, we know that they will never give one to everyone wants one, the production should continue about 10 years more to fulfill all the demand

The Omega site is weird like that, there is Speedmasters that have long been discontinued still on the site.

Where are the announcements?
In my opinion Omega will produce as many Snoopys as possible.

OBs will keep spouting that corporate line until they are told that, alas, not everyone who wants one will actually get one.

There have been no announcements that production is stopping.
