Congrats. IIRC it isn't a perfect fit without modification, here's a link how someone modified the end links, no Snoopy discussed but @watchstick_81 does have it on his Snoopy.

Well a lot of Manual 321 & 861 and others , but the automatic is not a problem and we need some power for the Module on the back 😀))))

By the way rumors or not end of June looks like will be the last’s , the list here is shapped a lot to deliver remaining « important » customers now.

Hope that's not the case. My US OB told me I should get mine before June (the last update they gave me this past October). That would be cutting it close. Congrats on your delivery.

I very much doubt that they will stop it in June. It makes no sense for Omega to stop producing it, especially when the waiting list are so full. Firstly it makes no financial sense and secondly the reputation damage will be substantial. They have already taken a reputation hit with all the waiting list/availability fiasco, the logical thing to do would be to actually deliver now to mitigate. Stopping production could end with Omega losing a lot of customers.

Totally agree, if they don't deliver Snoopys to all who put deposits over 2 years ago they will lose a massive amount of collectors. You can just satisfy those VIPs who already got theirs for long term interest in the brand.

Sounds like people are talking about different things. I think most people with original hard deposits at Omega Boutiques (in the US) have received or are not too far off from receiving. These were some of the only people to be guaranteed a watch. Remember, the US was one of the few countries to take deposits. I believe all of these original people will get one. The list was oversubscribed in the US and there was certainly a lot of scrubbing done early on to reduce this list.

Then beyond that is it mostly wait lists and wish lists and no promises or guarantees have been made by Omega. Most VVIPs (at OBs) have been satisfied or will be soon. At other ADs, likely not. That is the value proposition of going to an OB, when they are accessible.

And finally, time and time again it has been shown that having a watch that can't be obtained can do way more positivity from a brand long term than bad. Most customers are very quick to forget the next time a really hot watch comes along. This watch will not be made forever and there is simply no way that everyone will be satisfied. We are a solid 2+ years into production. Omega has other new and exciting things to focus on besides a single watch announced in 2020.

That may be true for many, but likely not so much for customers with deposits who don't receive the watch they paid and waited years for, especially when the next new, hot release promises more of the same.

But we'll see, of course. It's also likely that a new wave of bright, trusting collectors replace the disgruntled customers who missed out.

If you had an official standalone OB backed deposit you are more than likely going to get the watch, period. I have absolutely no numbers to base this off of and pulling straight out of thin air, but I'd venture to guess that US unfulfilled orders (w/ deposits) are in the extremely, extremely low 100s at this point. So pretty insubstantial. Didn't we say the entire paid US deposit list from 2+ years ago was around 1000 or less? Too far back to find it.

I wonder if it would benefit omega to keep this model permanently on their catalog as limited production and perhaps not do another Apollo 13 anniversary. I have nothing to base this on, but not sure of the downside besides to resellers over the long-term and perhaps this becomes their "Daytona” in a sense.

As an owner of a Snoopy, I hope Omega does do this. Don't flood the market but keep on producing these for the foreseeable future where more people can eventually get one.

I wonder what happened to "anyone who wants one will get one" ? 😗
"Eventually" is missing in your quote.
If you wanted it when that words were pronounced, you should already have it (specially in Europe).
So for me, the truth was told.

I simply don't believe your OB's words.
Congrats by the way.

I shake my head every time I see someone say it’s bad for the brand if there’s disgruntled customers who are upset because they can’t easily get the watch . The exact opposite is true, and is true for all luxury goods. This is exactly what Omega wants , and it will long term benefit the brand. I’m sure they want to find a balance where people who put deposits in early, or people with long term history with the brand can likely get a watch … but it wouldn’t serve them well for this to be just sitting in the display case for anyone who just walks into an OB or AD. However, I do agree they probably shouldn’t be holding deposits, but policy on that seems to be all over the place depending on country and whether it’s a dealer or a swatch group owned OB.
