wouldn't a silver snoopy award watch be a bit odd...in gold? I’m not too familiar but isn’t the NASA award called “silver snoopy”.

There is nothing to stop Snoopy still being in Silver, but the watch could have gold accents to celebrate the golden anniversary.

Not sure what this signifies, but I just came across a search result that leads you to the omega website under 'speedmaster apollo 13 silver snoopy watches' - but no content other than raw website building instructions:

https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/...onwatch/apollo-13-silver-snoopy-award/product

Also the drop down menus on the Omega website proper don't list the page yet.

Possibly it's the page for the upcoming release in development? Could be worth keeping an eye on in coming weeks?
Link now takes you to the 45th Anniversary Snoopy.

OB are starting to take deposits, details are still pretty scarce. Limited production, around 5k pieces over 2 years, blue / white color scheme, stainless steel.

Interesting feedback, where did the information come from?

My OB contact called me to see if I wanted to get the watch and do the deposit. She didn’t really have any information other than it would be on steel and with the new 3861 movement.

From my OB who's starting to take deposits. Pretty limited information considering release date is like 3 weeks away haha

Thanks, it seems that the AD's or OB's know about as much of the forthcoming launch as we do and probably look to this thread to come up with some of their ideas.

Not long to go until we find out what Omega will launch on the world

😁

Still sounds along the lines of my origional thinking...
* cal. 3861
* approx 6,970 LE pieces, it's sounding like an LE drawn out as limited production over two years so Omega gets its slice
* white dial, although 'and blue' sounds intriguing
* the inclusion of white gold being a 50th even though it's a Silver Snoopy Award/A13 related
* approx. £8k as similar pricing to the A11 50th plus recent price hike

Yes, this sounds reasonable, my only concern would be the number of pieces, I think that this is too low.

Time will tell @Martin_J_N, not long now 😉

I only came up with the number as it took over a year to sell in and out 6,969 A11 50th pieces and would still be 5k pieces plus 1970 to ensure enough pieces for a new Snoopy being circulated, not just to collectors or flippers, and also in justifying a price of double that of the standard Moonwatch.

If it is limited production i.e the 321 vs. limited edition, it would be difficult to justify a higher number being produced in the suggested timescale of over two years.

There wasn't enough pieces to allow me to get a A11 50th, so Omega have to make more this time. 😗

I agree with all of this

OB called me today for a deposit...why not? If I don't like it, it is fully refundable. 😀. Or, I'll just buy the world timer instead!
