Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but on watch finder, the snoopy has a new higher price, does this mean it's getting discontinued? I have noticed this with a lot of other watches, so just assuming if Omega will slow/stop the production of the snoopy
2.000€ down average price at C24 in a week, on the other hand.

Interesting -- I never know what to make of C24 prices. They tend to skew high, and on the few occasions I've looked at selling a piece there the suggested price was pretty far off what I'd expect someone, including myself, to pay.

But a realistically instead of extortionately priced Snoopy is a good thing for many of us still dozing at the back of the queues.

The whole watch market is down a bit.
No surprises about the Snoopy having 1-2K less in premium. Same thing is happening with all hot references.
Movement in premium doesn’t mean they are discontinuing the reference.
Also, they keep delivering…

Don't forget Snoopy Gen3 has at least 15000pcs, unlike the previous generations.

Estimates are way below 15,000 pieces.
Where did you get this number?

table is not really accurate.
In May 2021 Snoopy 3 was around 27K.
In the timeframe May 2021 to May 2022 price went up roughly 5K.
In May 2022 the average price was 31.8K.
So premium went up about 18%, not down 4% like is reported in the table.

Please look at the Omega CEO interview, almost official statement.

I am still sort of shocked after two years, still hear crickets from Omega. Just does not strike me as being professional, give us money, and can’t give any estimate whatsoever?

Did he ever mention numbers?
During multiple private events Omega leadership never mentioned numbers.
What interview are you referring to?

The deposit in US is completely refundable and they will keep your spot on the list. So you can get your money back now!
They have been offering this option for more than one year, you could take advantage of this too!

But it’s not an official statement and as mentioned above he never gave a specific number.

I don't recall them ever releasing numbers are even suggesting a number. Apollo 11 50th was 6969 , best I can do is guess based on number of Snoopy delivered compared to Apollo 11 delivered at my boutique.

They should have already been able to deliver those quantities, countries with no OB (NL/BE and so on) haven't gotten allocated anything yet.

Thanks for sharing.
More than 15.000 people on waiting lists that are closed. I got your point. But that doesn’t mean they are producing 15.000.

Reality is that we don’t know how many they are producing and if they will ever deliver to all the people on lists. The waiting list with delivery “guaranteed” was only for the US market, with the possibility of a payment in total.
Other countries didn’t have this option and they got the official message that the allocation is not a sure thing.

In the end I hope they will satisfy most of the request from real customers and they may even deliver 50,000 or 100,000 pieces before discontinuing the reference.
But We will never know that number.
Same as a steel Daytona, a BLRO, a 5167, or any other reference that is hot and “not limited”.

They will control production and level it according to the request in the market. This entire operation was designed in this way.

The Houston OB waiting list was just over 70 deposits before it was closed down. Of those 70, about half of those were returned back to customers. The other half got their watch. Just because he said the waiting list was over 15k doesn't really mean anything when Omega forced their US boutiques to shrink the waiting list.

Let's wait and see, time will tell. You know US is not all of the world.
