my OB called me and asked if I wanted to place a 10k deposit on the Apollo 13/Snoopy with zero details released. I said yes. I wasn’t even the first…there was another deposit ahead of mine.

Been following this thread for a while..
Spoke to my AD Manager (Canada) last weekend and was told Feb / March for delivery. When placed deposit in 2020 and was told there are a few customers ahead of me.

Doubting the delivery timeline communicated. But we will see.
Even the ADs as far as I'm aware don't even have timelines from Omega. Supposedly they just get 2-3 day notice when a shipment is coming in with what's in it.

Official deposits in US were opened between August and September 2020, the deposit was $5000.
Some boutiques took deposits before the official lists were opened, including in Europe and for sure one OB in the west coast.
The deposits from the West Coast created a lot of issues to Omega.

I'm another Canadian here and have a deposit from day 1 at my AD. I was told same thing the first ones will be coming in March, April but not holding my breath. Canada isn't like the US when it comes to OBs as there is only here in Vancouver and Toronto is a massive market in North America so not having a OB might makes things different for distribution.

Also hearing that the AD I have my deposit with has over 80 deposits taken, which makes me wonder what is really going on. But they keep saying anyone with a deposit down is getting a Snoopy for sure again I'm not buying it.
Is Ur ad at Yorkdale?

Following @nicolamilton ’s lead, my Snoopy is now sporting the new Speedmaster sapphire 3861 bracelet as well. Really completes the piece and well worth it! Recommended!

Seems to be the most popular option. Not a lot of owners putting the flat link on this watch.

Yes. I know of a few people in the same boat as myself and hearing the same story from them.

Just went to my OB today and he told me that next year this model will be discontinued as the focus will be Apollo 17 and Alaska special editions. Sorry for the bad news guys if you’re still expecting a snoopy
The bazillionth I heard/was told this or that, very tiring.

What’s “the Alaska special edition”?

It's a limited edition that someone with only EIGHT posts knows about.

I was recently in Bristol branch of Goldsmiths and while talking to sale associate about the Snoopy celebration, he mentioned that all stock in the group had to be sent back to Omega due to an issue with the caseback. Didn't know the details, but was wondering if anyone has heard this? Any truth in this? and if so what's the issue with the caseback if there is an issue?

A sense a tone of bitterness, you should really do some research and not be too bitter
What should I research? No one knows Omega's production plans going forward. It's all conjecture.

But please clue us all in on whatever information you have come across about an Alaska Project anniversary watch.

Do you know that there is a Alaska project anniversary coming up next year? If not I suggest you go look online. Most companies celebrate milestones as such

what are you going on about?

Obviously everyone here is intimately familiar with the fact that anniversaries occur, and the separate fact that watch companies create watches celebrating anniversaries.

What’s being asked, then, is: do you have any actual evidence that a specific anniversary is in fact being celebrated with a specific watch, or are you just stating your conjecture.

Ok I'll bite, its the 50th anniversary of the 1972 Alaska Project II prototype. But the 2008 Alaska Project production watch was already created to represent that 1972 prototype. There isnt really a point in a 50th anniversary edition when the watch was never actually used by NASA.

So they have already done this....

Look at the back of a Speedy Tuesday 1
and read what it says
