She has a Snoopy 50, EW 321, and a regular 3861 from Omega and some pretty popular Rolex pieces. She doesn’t get those without a serious purchase history.

What, really?
In Spain they requested payment in full + sale taxes, like in US?
This is a news!
Full payment, yes. And I think not only in Spain.

Thanks for confirming. This is actually very interesting, as the Omega boutiques didn't allow the full payment in other European countries (like in Italy and from what I know U.K.) and it seems no full deposits for the Asian market as well.
The Omega associates I'm in contact with told me that the US was the only market with possibility of putting down the full price.
I guess this is showing the level of confusion that is generated at multiple levels.

Goldsmiths/WOS took full payment the day after release on website before it switched to register interest

Not bad, but I prefer the blue cordura.
The cordura looks great but I don’t find it comfortable at all. Not a problem I’ve had before, just with this one. Is it just me?

That's a bummer. Is it leather lined? I was considering getting one for my Moonwatch.

It is true,I found it very stiff compared to my DSOTM but with time it has softened .
Keep wearing it and it will improve.

It is leather (at least, it looks like leather). It’s just very stiff. I don’t have the largest wrist, which probably doesn’t help.

Yes, that’s the one I’m comparing it with as well. Glad to hear yours was the same and has improved.

So I’m new to this game and wondering if it is normal for such a watch like this to be announced as “available” so many months ahead of it actually hitting the streets. My AD in Canada said feb/mar of this year, unfortunately now it is “you can come get it when it’s available”.

I don't think it was technically 'available'. It was launched in October last year and presumably the pandemic has slowed down production so they come through as and when I guess.

Quite normal. It was technically available but only to a few people.

I reckon Snoopy did a riff on the CK2998 from the 2017 Blue Panda, especially when you put it on a blue Omega Cordura strap.

I have the Back & White Panda version of the CK2998, both are lovely, but I agree with your assessment
