Hi guys. My Snoopy just arrived to the OB! Anyway, got an answer on the strap question... I know a few pics have been seen with bracelets on them but perhaps this goes to explain a little as to why an answer hasn't been forthcoming from Omega..?

Congrats - let’s see some pics later once you have time! Interesting on the bracelet point. I suspect in the long run this probably looks best on strap anyway.

East coast, full deposit a month before release.

Speaking of which, I went and saw the Snoopy and the Speedy Canopus Gold today...

I'm thinking about switching deposits. What to do with my place?
Did you imply to switch your deposit from the Snoopy to the Canopus gold?

if that’s the case:
1- I don’t really think you will have much competition on getting the white gold, so deposit is probably not needed…
2- but if you are thinking of not getting the Snoopy: DIBS!!!!! I will gladly help you out!! 😁

3- come to think of it: yes, you MUST switch your deposit to the WG………… AND DIBS X1,000,000for your spot on Snoopy list!!! 👍

Congrats!
Regarding the bracelet, so it seems no perfect fit with 3681/1681.
Also, I have seen contradictory information about Apollo 11 50th anniversary bracelet fitting Snoopy, did you also ask about it?
Thanks

I was wondering the same. There was a former post that showed the Apollo 11th 50th anniversary bracelet on the watch and the poster said it fit. However, I know members were questioning whether or not it was an aftermarket bracelet, etc.

I'm thinking the A11 flat link will fit like the 3861 bracelet will but it won't be a perfect fit.

So the case is unique?

No idea but that's just my guess. Since Wei Koh said the case is different but there's that one picture floating around showing you can mount it. We haven't seen a close up yet of the mounted bracelet so we don't know how well the end links fit to the lugs.

As I've previously mentioned, my AD (UK) kindly checked for me when it was announced/ordered and stated that although aftermarket i.e. does not form part of the Silver Snoop Award product the A11 bracelet does fit. I've been quoted £615 but I'm holding fire until I know a more accurate eta of my piece rather than end of Q1 2021, early Q2...

I own an A11 50th so will be taking the bracelet with me to be fitted. If it does, I'll be leaving it on and ordering a second as they confirmed with Omega delivery is approx. two weeks.

Good to know. Assumed it did but that’s great. Me, I’ll just switch them between the 2

Thanks in advance for future pictures.
I assume it will fit, but yet to be seen if it will do as well as on Apollo.

Correct -- switching my deposit from the Snoopy to the Canopus Gold.

I've seen both the Canopus and the Snoopy on the same day. Both were great but I'm really leaning towards the Canopus Gold. I haven't decided on switching just yet.

Re: Switching spots, I've already spoken to the OB but that is unfortunately not feasible. If anything, I have two options: buy the piece or switch the deposit and take my place out. If I pursue option 1, I'll need to figure out my next steps.

CHOICES!

These watches are on a different playing field! Price aside, the Canopus is just amazing. If you don't need the money, I say hold onto the Snoopy deposit for now. You can always decide to pull it later, but at least you have optionality.

Both are quite something, I agree with you.
The deposit isn't that big of a problem so I'm "probably" going to let it sit for now. That aside, I'm coming up with a plan to sell a few pieces to make up for the hit when I get the call for Canopus. Goodbye NTTD, FOIS, etc... -_-

How can you drop the NTTD? Too cool to be dropped. I wouldn't be able to part from it 😉

The Canopus is very nice, but the pricing is pretty important.
I'm not sure I will swap my deposit for the Snoopy for that.
Anyway if you like it better, it's the right choice for sure. You have to wear it!!

Damn flippers.
Are they really checking at Omega?
I am sure they are doing as well as they can.
Would be great if they could buy these and trace back the “culprits”… and… :whipped:

But as long some people will entertain these ridiculous prices, no end will be in sight. Greed is too powerful...

I don't think any of them have moved. Been checking every so often.

These are new.
Especially the ones on the US market. There was one only before in US, and that one is gone.
