Very interesting. All the people I know (not from the forums) that are on the list payed in full.
And the 5 K was not an option.
$5k was required pre-launch or day of announcement for US OB's. Full deposit was probably the official policy after the announcement date but left up to the OB manager's discretion to enforce on $5k depositors.

Yes, deposits requested are in full or they would not keep you on the list. This is for the US market only.
Then if there were a couple of millionaires that were spared the full deposit because the Omega Boutique director vouched for them, well that I don’t know.
I guess it might happen. But the vast majority of customers on the official US list are with deposits payed in full.
In terms of having a priority or not, I don’t think we will have a substantial advantage regarding the timing for the allocation. Our advantage is that our piece is guaranteed, while lists in other countries are not guaranteeing 100% a watch allocation.
That is a substantial difference.
You're wrong on this one. My OB required a $5K deposit here in the U.S. I am still on the list.

Pretty interesting. I know only people located in the EAST coast area (NY mostly) that are on the list. We are all with full.
Will ask an explanation about these differences.

Definitely interesting, I am also located on the East Coast and had to pay the deposit in full to get on the list. It would be great to get to the bottom of this

When did you put down deposits?
5 K when the lists were opened, about 3 weeks before the announcement.
Completed the full payment a couple of days after the announcement.

If you put down a deposit pre-announcement it was only $5k.
I believe it was at the discretion of the OB to take the rest or not.

Has anyone been able to confirm that this piece fits in a bracelet?

East coast, full deposit a month before release.

Speaking of which, I went and saw the Snoopy and the Speedy Canopus Gold today...

I'm thinking about switching deposits. What to do with my place?

Darn, maybe if it's not too much trouble, reach out to your AD and ask. A lot of people on the forum have been wondering.

Plenty of posts with it on a bracelet here if you look. 😉

Have seen it on the 50th anniversary and others. There is even a thread here somewhere.
Not looking because I’m not buying......

Edit: Due to a few posts on the previous page I’m about over the list, VIP, and VVIP rubbish that is getting thrown around to look at this thread anymore.......

Indeed. It'll probably fit my 3861 bracelet too.

I hadn't checked on this thread for a while so I must've missed it being confirmed.

Hi guys. My Snoopy just arrived to the OB! Anyway, got an answer on the strap question... I know a few pics have been seen with bracelets on them but perhaps this goes to explain a little as to why an answer hasn't been forthcoming from Omega..?
