$5k was required pre-launch or day of announcement for US OB's. Full deposit was probably the official policy after the announcement date but left up to the OB manager's discretion to enforce on $5k depositors.
Pretty interesting. I know only people located in the EAST coast area (NY mostly) that are on the list. We are all with full. Will ask an explanation about these differences.
Definitely interesting, I am also located on the East Coast and had to pay the deposit in full to get on the list. It would be great to get to the bottom of this
5 K when the lists were opened, about 3 weeks before the announcement. Completed the full payment a couple of days after the announcement.
If you put down a deposit pre-announcement it was only $5k. I believe it was at the discretion of the OB to take the rest or not.

Plenty of posts with it on a bracelet here if you look. Have seen it on the 50th anniversary and others. There is even a thread here somewhere. Not looking because I’m not buying...... Hi guys. My Snoopy just arrived to the OB! Anyway, got an answer on the strap question... I know a few pics have been seen with bracelets on them but perhaps this goes to explain a little as to why an answer hasn't been forthcoming from Omega..?
