Yep, that seems consistent with the way Omega is doing things, trying to be secretive about it and not just be honest with customers

 

I would be curious to know if anyone has received both the steel 321 and snoopy yet? I’m trying to figure out if they are perhaps bumping priority on snoopy for customers who already got the 321 and trying to distribute them more evenly. No Instagram pics from Robert-Jan yet, except for the prototype press piece he used in his review.... but they may have asked him not to post just as nicolamilton noted.

 

I think they generally have problems getting quantities of both watches.

Good point. I guess my question is do they really care about our opinions on what’s posted in the forums.

 

People are posting their watches on the forum and social media, along with their boutique location. There are very real cases of other customers of those same boutiques seeing these posts and getting upset because they don’t have their watch yet. The company must be upset about this.

 

It's hard to get upset when you don't know where you are exactly in line. Fortunately for my boutique, I am #10 in our line. But, I have a great relationship with them. People are just going to have to be patient. What has this world come to?

 

I agree with you Omega Q. I think the problem comes from not necessarily being honest with each customer about their position in line. I agree everyone needs to be patient, but people want honesty and no games. I also have a good relationship for years with my boutique.

 

I’d rather just be told an estimated date like Q1 2021 or Q2 2021. Where I’m at in the line doesn’t really matter to much to me as long as I have a general idea of when I’m getting it.

 

I would like to say that I have secretly received my snoopy but that secretly (and sadly) would be untrue...

I so want one, I managed to register interest but thats all, my OB wouldn't take payment or deposit perhaps because it was oversubscribed by the time I asked - but those that have received and are due to receive their watches - congratulations, I think it is one of those releases that will go down in history and be a coveted and well sought after piece in the future and perhaps forever...

I only hope that there will be transparency and respect to official queue.
I phoned last Thursday to Madrid OB and was told no news yet. On the other hand, a well known forum member in Spanish forum told me there had been "secret deliveries" in this same OB.

 

Some of the main boutiques in cities have a demonstration or display model. This has caused some confusion with enthusiastic customers.

 

I'm around #25 at my USA OB ($5k deposit) and was told Q3 or Q4 2021 last week if the current allocation delivery trend continues (December was around 3 allocations delivered).

 

If they barely fill the early pre-orders by Q4 2021, then I think Omega is going to have a problem
