So 9 watches in last 2 years........................don't feel lucky and definitely no VIP. I just pitch up and pay up.

 

You are the ideal customer for all the brands and you will always find available watches...

 

OK fair enough. But either way, I still don't think they will make enough for demand to be 100% met and I don't think we will see many more than 5k a year the first year or two and substantial less after that, which had been suggested elsewhere, and makes sense to me.

Whatever that means, I'm not sure!

You should know by now that threads on OF go all over the place, hardly ever do they stay on topic and thats all part of the fun.

 

I had a chat with someone online at Mappin & Webb about the Snoopy earlier today. They told me it could be the middle of next year when they receive them in.

 

Omega have made a massive mistake with the premature release then non supply of this Snoopy, I don't think i will be the last one to pull a deposit in frustration of no news and extensive wait.

 

There may well be a fair few customers pulling their deposits, especially with the 3861 Speedy leak.

I know that there were a number of factors influencing these delays. I wonder if the move to announce on October 5th, without the capacity to ramp up production and distribution straightaway, was in hindsight a mistake.

 

For sure - it will be boutiques first I expect - is always the way unfortunately. My AD thinks end Q1/beginning q2 but of course all of these conversations are speculation - I wouldn’t be surprised if they were later. They have form.....
