How's this for an obscure ebay find for a cool $8. Tom's dive watch from the Lynnhaven Dive Center. Judging by the ETA quartz movement, I would say mid to late '80s.
Yes, exactly the same with just different hands and a countdown bezel 👍
I don't know how much brand used that same 20 atm steel case, probably a classic from that aera because i discover new ones every day ... I love this case design and proportions !
I also have to take the time to service mine, this will be the next i will work on, it runs ok but it looks like it hasn't been serviced since decades . Yours need perhaps a bit more of attention but once cleaned it will be very beautiful, and the bezel is in good condition (they are sometimes very worn) !
This Nicolet watch has a Felsa 4007n movement. Its superwaterproof, so I don't take it off when I take a shower. That's a lie.
I've never seen another one so maybe it's obscure.
But it's cool.

It is done ! I have cleaned it and serviced the movement, changed the crown that wasn't waterproof anymore, it runs great now and it is very pleasant to wear !
Here is my only obscure diver in the collection got it for about a 100 bucks a few years ago on fleabay. It's made by Breil and is quartz it needed a new crystal and movement work and lume work since some lume was missing on the hands. Well sent it to Jack at IWW. I had a sapphire crystal installed and relumed new crown to pass pressure test and this was one of the first early quartz movements parts are as rare as hens teeth wanted to keep that original instead of putting a new one in. So when Jack told me what movement to look for I bought a donor watch for the movement for parts and the parts needed off that one made that old movement come back to life now I have about 450 in this but don't see many so I guess it's obscure.
I’m not even sure where it is anymore, but it must be buried in a drawer somewhere. Anyway, here’s an old picture of my Nautilus Taravana quartz diver which is pretty closely related to RiverRat’s Breil Manta.

Looks like the same case style as my Breil and I bet the same movement.
