Is that an anvil on a dive watch? 😉
Shouldn't it be something that doesn't drag your lifeless body to the depths like this:

Picked this off ebay for a cool $32. Never seen one like it........sadly, a 1 jewel EB auto. Didn't take much to get it going. Note the lower crown that would imply rotation of the inner ring. NOT! It's simply there for show, not go 🙁
Still it is quite large at 41mm and looks sharp.......except for the large "Sears" logo. I wonder if it carries the lifetime Craftsman guarantee.

After an afternoon in the spa. Already nicked up the crystal working in the attic. What do you want for a beater?

Ask anyone who bought something at Sears in Canada about the "lifetime" guarantee...😒

The bigger, dual-crown version is quite well known, but this little brother is fairly obscure...

That watch was sold under several brands, including Nivada:

Yes, and I have owned several. This is analogous to the case used by Titus for the popular Calyspomatic, which was also used by a variety of manufacturers.

Not sure how obscure these two may be, but they both run extremely well. The Lancia has a screw down crown, whereas the Peugeot does not. I gave them to my sons, and the watches are now getting good wrist time.
