Using the power of technology to help restore your inner balance

NOWATCH measures stress, temperature, heart rate, movement and sleep, plus a range of other factors to help you become healthier, achieve focus and restore balance.

But it doesn’t tell the time

Magnetically interchange the central disc of your NOWATCH to suit your style and mood. Easily switch between beautifully machined stainless steel discs and prehistoric stones which have excisted for hundreds of thousands of years.

Ummm...just...nope.

I can keep up with all that without a gadget introducing a pointless and unbalanced OCD preoccupation over it.

I’m at one of the group homes right now and I just took this picture of this “group of energy stones” one of the guys constructs. Sometimes I have to move them if he builds them in the middle of the walkways. Right now there are five of these structures on the grounds, I could probably find more if I took the time. Might make the perfect gift for this guy.

Not stressful at all.

I use it to mindlessly monitor various aspects of my health, which is a net reduction in stress. I’ll go days without checking the app, but if something seems off I can refer to it - often helping me make changes to, for example, my sleep patterns - then offering further benefits to stress/restfulness.

I have no trouble believing that some folks could have a mindset to find such insights stressful; but others can have the opposite mindset.

A
s an interesting (to me) side note, because the Oura is so good at detecting even small abnormalities in body temperature and resting heart rate, it’s being used in various studies and applications to track illnesses in the context of COVID - just one example:
